AD | Easing Out of Lockdown with Femme Luxe Finery

AD – This post is in collaboration with Femme Luxe Finery – The items featured in this post were kindly gifted to me but all words and opinions are my own, and honest.

Lockdown has really made me rethink what I like to wear around the house and when just running a few errands and that is of course 2020’s main fashion statement: Loungewear. So, I will be the first to admit that I will struggle no longer wearing loungewear on a day to day basis.

Normal clothes? What are those again!

I am however over the moon that restrictions over here in the UK are slowing getting lifted because I am sick of being cooped up indoors, I’m in some desperate need for some normality over here now.

Once again I have been contacted by Femme Luxe Finery to try out some of their latest pieces from their range. If you see me out and about in the beer gardens or shopping centres, then you will most definitely be seeing these items in the flesh. Don’t say I don’t spoil you!

Sage Check Print Shacket – Isabella

I have become a massive fan of a good shacket. Haven’t heard of it? It’s the perfect cross between a shirt and and jacket, hence the clever thought up name! I thought a shacket was the perfect item for Autumn, but now I’m bringing it out for Spring! Being out in beer gardens, a shacket is an absolute must.

I’ve teamed it up with my own jeans, casual top and trainers just to show a shacket is perfect to create the ultimate comfortable and casual look.

Black Crew Neck & Joggers Loungewear Set – Annekke

Now when I said I was obsessed with loungewear now, I literally was not kidding, okay!? I meant every single word of it. But, just because I’m back out and about again doesn’t mean that I can’t add to my already growing collection of loungewear clothes, right? I still need to chill out at home, and for that, I still need new items – or so I’m telling myself to rid myself of any guilt.

I’m a huge fan of Femme Luxe’s loungewear sets. They keep me looking comfy but looking cute at the same time, an extra bonus! So I just had to pick this set in particular because the crew neck top is also cropped which means I can wear it out in the nice sunny weather without being too hot. Cropped items are another Spring must have these season so as well as being comfortable, I’m also bang on trend!

Lilac Check Print Shacket – Isabella

Another shacket I hear you say? Well you are correct, come on, I love shackets that much I was so torn between sage and lilac, I had to opt for both! Lilac isn’t a colour I own many, if any, clothes in so I picked the lilac because it gives the outfit that added pop of colour making it stand out and the statement piece of the outfit. Personally, I think a shacket should be owned by everyone because of it’s versatility. I don’t think there are any items of clothing that a shacket doesn’t look amazing teamed up with.

Pairing up the shacket on top of my loungewear set just goes to show how easily worn and versatile the shacket really is. It can be worn on top of a dressy outfit to give it a bit of an edge, and it can still look as stylish when paired with a more laid back, casual outfit.

You could wear a full face of glam makeup to transform the outfit from casual to glam casual, and who doesn’t love looking effortlessly chic?

Oversized Houndstooth Jumper Dress – Kristen

You may have seen this outfit everywhere on Insta in recent weeks/months and that is down to how cute and chic the jumper dress is. You cannot blame everybody for falling in love with this look, and I have fallen victim of it, too. I teamed it up with the crew neck jumper just because of the cool Spring wind that seems to be present at the moment, but I have seen so many people wear a long sleeved shirt under this type of jumper dress which I love, so I may need to try it out for myself in the future.

The only downside is that the jumper does ride a little short, which could be down to height, so if you want an oversized feel, then definitely order up a size or two just so you don’t flash any undesirables. I had to wear a pair of leggings under so I wasn’t giving anybody more than what the bargained for.

What do you think about the items I’ve picked? What will you be wearing when you hit the beer gardens?
