Hi lovelies, apologies for being absent for almost a month. I mean, why am I apologising for not being present, but enjoying life and living in the moment? Anyhow, I apologise if you have missed any of my content in the previous weeks.
I’ve been a tad bit busy and if you haven’t seen on my Instagram 😉 I’ve been away on holiday and as you may be aware, it kinda takes me some time settling back into a routine and getting my life back on track.
I think I’m almost there for getting myself back on track. But there is always room for improvement, isn’t there?
I know this post is about two weeks late, but as the good old saying goes, it’s better late than never! Here are my June favourites.
Does anybody have some spare motivation they want to kindly send my way? I’d appreciate even the smallest amount, help a gal out.
You must have been living under a rock for the last couple of months if you aren’t aware of the trend surrounding Gin at the moment. Move over Prosecco, you’re no longer ‘cool’ anymore but instead have been replaced by the scented alcoholic beverage you either love, or hate. I’m not a fan of Gin in general. I don’t really like the smell, nor the taste of a ‘standard’ original Gin, but the pink, the pink I do like. It doesn’t taste like your regular tangy Gin, instead it’s soft and gentle on your throat. I do prefer it mixed with Lemonade, but I’m starting to grow to love it with Tonic water. I’m fairly new to the Gin world, but I may start to taste more in the coming weeks/months. What’s your favourite type of Gin? I would love some recommendations!
The World Cup
I can’t be the only person in the world who was laughing at the start of the World Cup whenever I heard somebody claim we were going to win. But this World Cup has been especially surprising with Germany, Argentina and Portugal getting knocked out early on. But now look at England, we have the strongest team we have had in a long time. It’s great to watch a young team who thrive on playing for their country, they store the ambition and determination they need to take us all the way. We stand a good a chance as anyone else!
The nice weather really gets me ready and prepared for a good old wedding, and with it being the middle of the year weddings are happening left, right and centre. I was invited to a wedding party at the end of June for good friends who got married in the Caribbean earlier in the month. The weather was amazing, and it felt like a proper good summer night. I love a good wedding, the feel of love in the air, everyone seems to be in a great mood!
My holiday to Palma Nova
If you know me, you will know I live to be on holiday. The feel of the sun on your skin, your feet sinking into the hot sand, water splashing upon your face in the pool/sea. It’s a time where I forget about everything and properly unwind. I was on holiday in a group of 8 for a friend’s birthday and we had a great time and even ventured into the Magaluf strip every night, and it wasn’t half as bad as I thought it was going to be, I don’t know if stricter laws which have been put into place has stopped the wild antics that used to happen on the strip, or whether I was lucky and missed all the agro during my week there. Either way, I had a great holiday and I wish it lasted longer!
What have you been loving this June?
