A Drink That Shouldn’t Work But It Does

Have you ever come across a concoction of something that just sounds awful at the thought of it?

Peanut butter and jelly.

Fries dipped into a milkshake (if you haven’t tried this you really should!!)

Chilli heatwave Doritos and cream cheese

Pineapple on pizza 😉

But actually pleasantly surprises you when you taste it because it’s actually really tasty.

Well, this happened to me.

But not with food, with an alcoholic drink and an unexpected mixer.

After spending some time scrolling through Pinterest, as I always tend to do when I’m bored, I discovered some simple cocktail recipes and I was a tad surprised if I’m completely honest to see Malibu and Irn Bru go together.

I think if I was going to make any drink involving Irn Bru it would be Vodka to make my own homemade Irn Bru WKD-type drink.

But you know me, I love a good cocktail so I thought I would give it a go and low and behold, it’s actually pretty nice!

I have to admit I was a little bit skeptic when trying it first, but it was really refreshing and perfect for those lazy Saturday afternoons when you just want to sit out in the garden and have a refreshing drink.
