My May Favourites

What an amazing month May has been, hasn’t it? The weather has been amazing, I’ve even managed to get a tan from sitting in the garden. Brits don’t think of getting a tan anywhere other than being abroad but have you know, it has actually been achievable this month in our own country, hooray!

Here is what I have been loving this month.

The Royal Wedding
I would be crazy if I done this post and didn’t mention the wedding. We have been spoiled lately with the Royal family. A new Prince being born, and a wedding within a couple of weeks! I’m not massive on the Royal family but I had to watch the wedding to see it all. After all, it’s witnessing history and I’ve been lucky enough to watch two Royal weddings in my life time, and potentially more as Prince George and Princess Charlotte grow up. Didn’t Meghan look amazing? And the way Harry looked at her as she walked down the aisle to him, we need to find a man who looks at us the way he looked at her.

There’s not much I love more than make up, so when I was gifted this palette I was instantly excited for summer so I could do some bright and vibrant eyeshadow looks. Colours from green to yellow, from pinks, purples to oranges and blues. I can’t say I haven’t got much colour to work with. I may do a separate post about this palette with a few eye looks I’ve created using it, so watch this space!

Reaching 500 Blog Followers

A milestone seems miles away – maybe that’s where it gets it’s name from. But, I was over the moon the other week when I finally reached 500 followers on WordPress. I know it doesn’t seem a lot of followers and I know there are bloggers out there who have got a larger following than me, but for me, this is an amazing achievement. It’s little things like that which keep me blogging when I’m feeling down and unmotivated. So thank you.. You followers rock!

River Island bag

I picked up this little beaut early on in the month. Manchester’s Arndale Centre had a student event on, and yes as it would be my last event as a student I decided to go along and see what bargains I could pick up. I managed to get this beaut for around £18 instead of £24. It sparkles when the light catches it, and it is so much more beautiful in life (I know right, how is that even possible!?) I fell in love right away and added it to my ever growing collection of bags.

What have you been loving this May?
