This has been a post that I have wanted to do for some time now. The only reason why I’ve put off doing it is because I needed to get myself in a regular routine, and a routine that really works for me. Thankfully, I’ve finally got myself in a comfortable routine that I’m sticking to – believe me that’s a big deal!
Morning Skincare Products
Garnier SkinActive Ultra Lift Eye Contour Care
I read so many good things about this product and after seeing a TV advertisement on it I decided to make the plunge. However, I was so lucky when I went to buy it as it was on offer in Superdrug, costing me around £4 when it should have been more around £8. If that wasn’t a sign I needed to buy this product then I don’t know what is and that more or less made my day. I love a good bargain! I think the offer is still on in Superdrug so if you’re interested in this product then you should take a look now before the offer runs out because it’s quite the saving.
I apply it on a morning under the eyes and to the side making the shape of a ‘U’. You don’t need much of the product, a little goes a long way so it really does have value for money. I can’t see any direct benefits of this product as being a lucky 23 year old I don’t have any wrinkles, but my skin does feel a lot firmer and really really soft.
Garnier SkinActive Botanical Day Cream
My make up artist friend swears by this product and she uses it before she applies makeup to her clients. When she done my make up in December she applied this cream on me when I was helping her with a uni assignment and oh emm gee the smell of it is just heavenly! You know a smell that just smell of pure cleanliness and pretty little flowers? Well this smells exactly like that!
Since I’ve been using this my skin has been really hydrated and soft. In the winter months my skin suffers really bad and I get awful and unattractive dry patches, usually on my forehead, but since I’ve been applying this every morning I no longer suffer. Typically I apply to my face as a base about five minutes before I apply my make up to let it really skin in.
Night Skincare Products
Sudocrem Antiseptic Healing Cream
Sudocrem is my answer to everything at the moment. I honestly believe it will solve most skin issues. I read online that it was actually really good with rashes. If you have read previous posts you will know I suffer from rosacea. If you want to read my skin journey, then you can right here. So on a night I have been covering my cheeks and any bad areas with the cream and letting it soak in. I started using this product in the middle of January as my skin started to flare up and become bad. Which causes my confidence and self esteem to plummet. From that first night applying to now, I can honestly hand on heart see a difference. The redness and pigmentation of my skin has gone down massively and although the spots still look pretty aggressive, the redness is about 65% better. I’m putting this down to Sudocrem and I will long continue to use it.
Also, a little bit of cream goes a long way, so although a tub costs around £5 I think it will take me a good while to reach the end of this product. Value for money, yay!
Garnier Ultra Lift Night Cream
I received this tub of loveliness from my grandma as a Christmas present last year and I love it that much I have re-bought the item when I ran out. I use it every night on my forehead, chin and nose and let it soak in. You don’t need a lot on as a little goes a long way. I must say a massive thank you to my grandma for introducing me to this product, she has used it for years – so take note in what your mum’s, grandma’s, aunties are using! It might be something worth taking a look at.
I find this product is really good at hydrating my skin and the next morning my skin still feels as smooth and hydrated as the night before. Although I can’t see any noticeable results as I’m only 23 and currently don’t have any wrinkles so I can’t comment on any lifting of the skin, but maybe my youthful complexion is down to this cream! Who knows?
I have just noticed three out four of the above products are Garnier so I just want to say that this is not a sponsored post, but clearly Garnier are smashing it! You go Garnier!
Do you use any of the same products?
If yes, which ones? If no, what do you use? Let me know!
Lovely post, I love hearing other peoples routines! Sudocrem is honestly my holy grail saviour, I started using this on my spots overnight and I can’t believe how quickly they disappear. It’s like a miracle! I don’t tend to get many and the sudocrem does go a long way so I agree it’s definitely worth picking up!

I loved reading about your routine and I never thought to use Sudocrem. I should really use night cream because my skin gets so dry. I didn’t know you could even use these creams for rashes either – great post!!
